About Brainwaves

Brainwaves is a passion project educating everyday people on critical factors that influence our future, key insights into the world today, and a glimpse into the past from a forward-looking lens.

Brainwaves

Each Wednesday, Drew Jackson, the content curator for Brainwaves, publishes the Brainwaves newsletter: an in-depth, approachable analysis of a topic from emerging technologies to scientific advancements to economic trends, and much more. The goal of the Brainwaves newsletter is to encourage readers to ponder the possibilities and implications of innovations shaping our world, providing key insights along the way.

The weekly Brainwaves newsletter is available via email subscription, on the newsletter homepage, or through the Substack app.

Topics Discussed So Far:

Bonus Content: At the end of each quarter, Drew takes a step back to give an update on the inner workings of the newsletter. These are a more casual form of content, ripe with life insights and other bonus content (like Kardashian quotes).

The Saturday Morning Newsletter

Each Saturday, Drew Jackson, the content curator for the Brainwaves newsletter, publishes The Saturday Morning Newsletter—a supplementary short-form newsletter providing current event updates on Brainwaves topics plus all manner of bonus content. The Saturday Morning Newsletter’s goal is to provide readers with a way to easily keep up to date on what’s happening with critical subjects covered in the weekly Brainwaves newsletters.

Additional Content

If you want more content than two weekly newsletters, feel free to head over to the Brainwaves profile on Twitter/X, where Drew posts daily content updates, sneak peeks at future content, company fundraising information, and links to interesting news articles.

In addition, supplementary content updates are provided regarding past topics–usually based on feedback given from readers and current events. These supplementary updates will be more infrequent as simple follow-up posts are planned for most articles, meaning key updates may be addressed there.

How Brainwaves Adds Value To Your Life

The Main Goal: The main goal of the Brainwaves newsletter has been, and always will be, to have at least one person every week receive some kind of benefit from the content produced, whether that be understanding a new topic or learning a new angle about an existing topic or simply have an enjoyable time thinking about something new for a second.

Besides this, here are 6 more ways Brainwaves could (and should) create value in your life.

#1: Brainwaves is a great way to have an enjoyable, casual experience learning about new/interesting topics that will be the basis for the future of our economy, daily life, belief systems, and the world as a whole.

#2: Brainwaves is a great way to hear a unique perspective on current events tailored towards understanding underlying trends while providing the knowledge to bring anyone up to speed on each topic. Each newsletter will be complete with originality in the content and angle taken.

#3: Brainwaves is a great way to find solutions to problems you never even knew you had, including, but not limited to, venture capital funding needs, economic incentives, next-generation energy solutions, philosophical belief systems, and many more.

#4: Brainwaves is a great way to transparently understand the inner workings, successes, and failures of running a continually adapting newsletter. You may be interested in starting a newsletter or blog yourself, or maybe you simply want to understand what it’s like to put hundreds of hours into a passion project and be inspired by the result.

#5: Brainwaves is a great way to learn more about topics you are interested in. If you don’t see a particular subject you are fond of being covered in the newsletter, please let us know! Feel free to reach out via email (brainwaves.me@gmail.com) or submit this form.

#6: Brainwaves is a great way to help yourself. There are opportunities to directly interact with Drew regarding personal projects, interests, or anything else you might need help with or simply want to understand further. The best way to reach Drew is via email (brainwaves.me@gmail.com). Drew answers all emails, newsletter questions, and other communications.

If you don’t feel like Brainwaves is creating value in your life, please let us know as we’d love to help curate content better suited to your desires.
